This is the outer filter used in ALL Eco-Pur Master Spas and Down East Spas that are equipped with the black stem-pipe and lid (manufactured 2004 and later). There is a raised ledge on the filter with the words, "THIS SIDE UP" printed on it.

Product Update: Master Spas has discontinued the 3-Stage Filter System that had an additional filter BETWEEN the outer filter and Eco-Pur, called the "Depth Loading Filter". This system was sold in 2008. This is now the only outer filter you need, combined with the inner filter.
