This is a two part stackable filter. The full length of the 2 filters when put together is 16 7/8 inches long from the media top to the media bottom. If you have a leag screen, it may not fit over the top of this filter system. The two filters are joined by an adapter tube. The top filter has a handle on top, and a tube on the bottom (which joins with the bottom filter). The bottom filter has a raised hole on the top (which the top tube inserts into), and a 1 1/2" SAE threaded adapter on the bottom.
